Adderbury History Association – 20 April
Ian Myson will give a talk about Doreen Warriner (1904-72) the Unsung Humanitarian Hero at 7.15 pm in The Institute. Ian, Chair of Bloxham History Club, will tell the extraordinary story of Doreen Warriner, after whom the local school is named. An academic ground-breaker, she was also one of the most important British figures in the history of humanitarian relief in the 20th century. Visitors are welcome at £5.00.
The meeting will be in Church House and starts at 7.30 pm. All residents are welcome to attend.
Can you spare one hour to help marshal the road closure? Volunteers are needed to manage road closure outside The Bell and the Coach and Horses. It would involve diverting the traffic and ensuring that only essential vehicles are let through. High Street will be closed from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. If you are free to help please email Laura

Scouts are fundraising for the WINGS International Jamboree. Come and visit us on the Day of Dance. We will be on The Green between 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. There will be Tombola, Games, Grow a sunflower, Cakes and Plants. Please
